Mark Nisbet, a technical leader with a diverse skill set, boasts expertise in product development, process engineering, food chemistry, marketing, entrepreneurship, and economics. With experience in creating new products that delight consumers, expanding organizational capabilities, and increasing revenues of brands, Mark proudly bridges the gap between technical teams, consumers, and customers. Mark has studied Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology at Cornell University, Food Science at Kansas State University, and BS, Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mark has worked at PepsiCo as Sr. Product Development Manager, where he managed projects, created business plans, and claims strategy from discovery through product launch, among other responsibilities. Additionally, Mark served as a Product Development Manager and an Associate Principal Scientist at PepsiCo. He has also worked as a Course Instructor for 'FDSC 4010 Concepts of Food Product Development' at Cornell University and was a Ph.D. Candidate at the same university. Mark has formerly worked as an Associate Food Scientist at the International Food Network, Organic Chemistry and NMR Lab Assistant at the University of Illinois, and Wine Cellar Assistant/Retail Associate at Glenora Wine Cellars.
