Michelle Liu is a community creator and serial networker with a background in executive program management at The Conference Board, a renowned not-for-profit research think tank. Michelle's role involves convening professionals in talent acquisition, career strategy, onboarding, women's leadership, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) fields from various industries, to address critical business challenges and societal needs. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Michelle serves as an Advisor for the Lean In New York City Chapter, focusing on empowering women through networking events. She also organizes virtual fandom communities and manages multigenre conventions like Derpycon and Zenkaikon. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and is proficient in Mandarin, currently expanding her language skills to include Finnish.
