Michelle Cheng

Michelle Cheng is a highly accomplished journalist and storyteller with a passion for people's stories. She studied Journalism with a concentration in Computer Science at Boston University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has held various roles in different organizations. For instance, she worked as a reporter at Quartz, an editorial assistant/reporter at Inc. Magazine, and an interactive producer at KQED. Before that, she interned at ESPN's FiveThirtyEight Data Reporter and Forbes's editorial department. Furthermore, her writing skills earned her a Senior Writing Fellowship and an Editor position at The Quad, BU's Internet Magazine. She leveraged her design skills as a Design Fellow at Plympton Inc. Finally, she served as a YouTube Consultant at Upworthy and a Managing Editor at New York Family. Her well-rounded experience indicates a talented storyteller and journalist that is perceptive, versatile, and always ready for a new challenge.
