Erica Hensley is a skilled health and data journalist with a passion for public health policy and impactful storytelling. She obtained her Double BA in Print Journalism (with an emphasis in Photo Journalism) and Political Science at the University of Southern California, and went on to earn a Master's degree in Health and Medical Journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.

Throughout her career, Erica has worked in a variety of roles that have honed her journalism skills. She has worked as an Investigative Reporter at Mississippi Today, as well as a Freelance Reporter, a Contributing Writer at Moderate Magazine, and an Editorial Intern at Creative Loafing. Erica also has experience outside of journalism, including working as a Bookseller and PR Manager at Bound to be Read Books, a Tutor/Marketing Associate at Vision Tutoring, and a Marketing Intern at Allied Live.

Erica's professional work has been characterized by her ability to tell important stories with clarity and empathy.
