Michelle Chaput

Michelle Chaput is a highly accomplished professional with expertise in Geography, Earth science, education, geospatial analysis, cartography, GIS, and more.

She holds a PhD in Geography, Environment, and Geomatics, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from the University of Ottawa.

Michelle has held various roles in prestigious organizations including Director of Research & Education at The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Researcher at University of Ottawa, and other positions at the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and University of Ottawa.

Her diverse experience includes serving as an Acting Manager, Education Program Coordinator, Part-time Professor, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant among others.

She also has practical knowledge in tools such as ArcGIS, R, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft, and working with big datasets.

Michelle Chaput's background extends to human-environment relations, biogeography, time-series analysis, and involvement in research projects at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
