Annika Ogilvie

Annika Ogilvie is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for understanding the impact of climate change in the Arctic region.

She holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Ottawa and has pursued courses in Arctic Geophysics at The University Centre in Svalbard. Annika also completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Ottawa.

With a diverse background, Annika has served in various roles including Senior Analyst in the Icebreaking Program at the Canadian Coast Guard, Assistant Manager in Ice Services at Fednav Limited, Ice and Remote Sensing Analyst at Fednav Limited, Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, Data Production, and Dissemination Officer at Statistics Canada, and GIS Technician at the City of Ottawa.

Her career aspirations revolve around promoting sustainable resource extraction practices in the Canadian Arctic and fostering better relationships among northern communities, industry stakeholders, and government bodies.
