Michele Fulves
Michele Fulves is an experienced actor, writer, and life coach who has combined her talents to create a unique approach to corporate training through theater. With a Master of Arts in Language and Literacy from City University of New York City College and a BS in Speech Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder, Michele has the necessary background to understand the intricacies of human communication. Her epiphany came while flying in de la Guarda, an Argentine circus, where she realized the power of non-verbal messages and the connection between fear-based assumptions and risk-taking. This event led her to create corporate theater, where she designs highly adaptable solo performances highlighting recurring themes in communication breakdowns leading to workplace catastrophes. Her trainings are designed with case studies of avoidable workplace disasters, dynamic post-performance conversations, role-plays, and reassessments of corporate narratives. Michele's approach provides a safe distance to analyze pervasive workplace issues such as black and white thinking, sexual harassment, and speaking truth to power, resulting in authentic dialogue to explore critical points where manageable workplace situations turned into catastrophes. Her clients come away with a deeper understanding of subtext's value and fear's active role in the decision-making process. Michele's specialties include theater/film/corporate theater actor, life coach, the art of conversation, and narrative writing.
