Meet Michael Welsh, an expert in human development and leadership coaching. With over a decade of experience in finance and HR, Michael currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Services at the Hudson Institute of Coaching. He leads a team of experts in coaching, organizational development, and instructional design to build a happy, healthy, and productive workplace. Michael is a Hudson certified coach and has several HR and Learning & Development certifications, such as SHRM-SCP, PHR, Hogan Assessments, Crucial Conversations, and Situational Leadership.

Before joining the Hudson Institute, Michael worked at several high-profile companies like Facebook, Stripe, and Intercom, where he handled people development, coaching programs, leadership effectiveness, and organizational design. He facilitated hundreds of workshops for thousands of individuals and scaled organizations from 250 to 15,000 employees. Michael holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and an MS in Accounting.

When he is not working, Michael recharges his batteries by running trails and roads. He has accomplished impressive feats like running more than 16 marathons and crossing the Grand Canyon (and back!).
