Michael Tobin is a Walsh Fellow UCD/Teagasc graduate who holds a BSc in Environmental Science. He is deeply passionate about Agriculture, with a focus on grass-based, sustainable, and efficient dairying systems. His enthusiasm extends to all facets of food production in Ireland. Having gained experience from dairying in Canterbury, NZ, Michael Tobin presently manages a 650-cow Irish dairy farm. He pursued a Masters in Agricultural Innovation & Extension at University College Dublin and holds various certificates in Agriculture, Farm Administration, Dairy & Beef primary production, with a Distinction from Kildalton Agricultural College. Additionally, he completed a Bachelor's Degree with a 2.1 in Environmental Science from University College Cork. Michael Tobin has a background as a Dairy Herd Manager at Rockwell Farm, Relief Milking Operator at FRS Services, and an Under Graduate at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC).
