He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, showcasing his strong educational background.

In addition to his MBA, Michael also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Studies at Iona College and participated in study abroad programs focusing on Political Science and Government at The University of Stirling, as well as Economics at Universidad de Salamanca.

Currently, Michael Swiatek serves as the Chief Strategy & Planning Officer at Avianca, where he brings his expertise in building engaged teams, strategizing effectively, and optimizing financial aspects to drive the company's competitiveness and success.
