Michael Siska

Michael Siska is an Investment Banking Managing Director and Partner at William Blair with expertise in specialty retail, food retail, fitness, and omni-channel retail sectors.

He has extensive experience in public and private company merger & acquisition advisory, capital markets (debt and equity), and operating models like company-owned and franchise.

Siska has completed transactions for over 75 clients across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia and is known for his strategic insights and deal-making skills.

His notable transactions include the sale of SmarteCarte to 3i Group, the sale of Petsense to Tractor Supply, and the acquisition of Diamond Triumph Auto Glass by Safelite Auto Glass.

He has also led public equity offerings for companies like Stitch Fix, Dunkin Brands, Planet Fitness, and ULTA.

Michael Siska joined William Blair in 2006 and was promoted to Partner in 2016, showcasing his dedication and successful track record in the industry.

Siska holds an MBA from The University of Chicago - Booth School of Business and a BS from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, reflecting his strong educational background.
