Michael Simonson is the founder and principal of ClickBoost, a digital marketing agency based in New York City. He founded the company in 2016 after a career in politics and marketing.
Early Career
After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2008, Simonson began his career as a field organizer on various political campaigns, including for New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine, Congressman John Adler, and State Senator Loretta Weinberg. In 2010, he served as Allegheny County Field Director, contributing to Congressman Joe Sestak's upset victory over 30-year incumbent U.S. Senator Arlen Specter in the Pennsylvania Democratic Primary.1
Marketing Experience
Looking for a change, Simonson transitioned into marketing, becoming Director of Marketing for New York Wine Events from 2014-2016. In this role, he helped the company more than double its annual event schedule and develop successful new events like the North Fork Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival and the Big Apple Zinfandel Experience.1
ClickBoost
Simonson founded ClickBoost in 2016 to provide digital marketing services to clients. The agency specializes in social media marketing, search engine marketing, email marketing, pay-per-click advertising, PR and content creation.1
Some of ClickBoost's notable projects include coordinating PR, online advertising and content for the 2017 Synergy Global Forum in New York City, which was headlined by Richard Branson.3
