Michael Scannell is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of chemistry, particularly in analytical and pharmaceutical development.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Towson University.

Currently, Michael serves as the Sr. Director of CMC Development at Esperion - The Lipid Management Company, where he plays a key role in leading the development of innovative lipid management solutions.

Prior to his role at Esperion, he held prominent positions in reputable organizations such as QED Therapeutics, United Therapeutics, SCYNEXIS, Hauser Chemical Research, and Parker Hughes Institute.

His past roles include Director of Analytical Development, Senior Director of Analytical Sciences, and Director of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Development, showcasing his diverse skill set and leadership capabilities.

Through his vast experience, Michael has honed his expertise in analytical sciences, pharmaceutical development, and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls), making him a valuable asset in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
