Michael Lake

Michael Lake is a seasoned Talent Acquisition Manager with an impressive track record in implementing best practices and projects relating to talent acquisition and technology. He is a self-motivated professional who is passionate about employer branding using social media, candidate and hiring manager experience, and recruiting excellence.

Lake studied Law at Coventry University and has worked in various positions throughout his career. He started as a Sales Representative at E.ON UK before moving into recruitment consultancy as an Accounting and Finance Recruitment Consultant, a C&I Resourcer at Badenoch & Clark, and later, as Recruitment Resourcer and Consultant for Corporate Functions and CEEMEA at Discovery Networks International.

Lake then spent several years at L'Oréal where he held different roles, including Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager for Global Candidates and Campus Activation, and Manager of Talent Acquisition Systems.

Currently, he is the Global Talent Acquisition Manager at Ferrero, where he oversees and manages talent acquisition strategies across the organization. He leverages his expertise in talent acquisition technology and best practices to attract talented people, retain top performers, and build high-performing teams.
