Michael Karb

Michael Karb is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of experience in various industries including classifieds, ecommerce, and insurtech in Europe and South East Asia. He has a proven track record of building financial steering, internal audit and treasury functions from scratch. Additionally, Karb is familiar with cleaning up accounting, tax and corporate secretary work. He has completed several M&A transactions, prepared IPO and is responsible for several financing rounds exceeding €100m.

Karb has been the Chief Financial Officer at medneo GmbH and previously held CFO positions at ottonova AG, Lazada Group, and PropertyGuru. He was also the Vice President Controlling and Head of Strategic Controlling at Scout24 Holding GmbH, and Senior Investment Manager at T-Online.

Karb is well educated and holds a degree in Economics from Theodor-Heuss-Schule, Bielefeld, and Business/Commerce, General from Rudolf Rempel Schule Bielefeld. He has also studied Wirtschaftswissenschaften at Universität Paderborn and Business Administration/Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
