Michael Bett

Michael Bett is a seasoned director with a wealth of experience in various fields such as finance, management, education, and technology. He has a distinct ability to impact student learning outcomes at scale using his evidence-based learning engineering methodology. Michael also has a history of creating innovative programs to improve education, manufacturing efficiency, and customer experience. His academic background includes a BS in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Michael Bett has held various roles, including Project Manager and Senior Engineer at Logica Carnegie Group, Inc. He was also a Software Engineer at Trimeter Technologies and a Project Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University. He currently serves as Managing Director at METALS in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, where he leads over 200 people in university and industry research collaborations.
