As an Angel Investor & Advisor since 2016, she focuses on sustainable solutions in energy and social causes through impact investments. Mette serves as Vice Chairman of the Board at Nobel Sustainability Trust Denmark, Chairperson of the Board at Lifeshelter, Board member at WaterBearNetwork, and Chairman of the Board at Connect Denmark.
Prior to her current role, Mette held positions such as Associate Vice President at NNIT A/S, Director of Client Services at Formpipe, and Program Director at KMD, where she was responsible for P&L of large accounts in the central government sector.
During her tenure at Carlsberg IT, Mette served as IT Service Management Director and PMO Director, overseeing vendor selection and infrastructure outsourcing agreements across Europe.
Her early career at IBM as an IT Specialist involved developing new services within process framework consultancy services.
Mette's educational background includes a Master's degree in Eastern Europe studies and IT Technology from Copenhagen University, complemented by certifications in ITIL Service Management.
She is a founder of The Impact Collective and has held various leadership roles in organizations such as Milton Around the World and The Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship.
