Merlin holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sustainable Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy Systems & The Environment, where he achieved Distinction from the University of Strathclyde. Additionally, Merlin completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Architecture, earning Second Class Honours (Division 1) (2:1) from the University of Glasgow. Prior to his higher education, Merlin excelled in his A-levels in Maths, French, and Physics, achieving AAC at Glenalmond College.

Merlin Carnegie has accumulated a wealth of professional experience, currently serving as the Technical Development Manager at Low Carbon.
