Meredydd Williams

Meredydd Williams is a Principal Consultant at Roke Manor Research with a strong background in Cyber Security and Computer Science.

Williams holds a PhD in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford, where his research focused on security behavior on smartwatches and privacy protection.

He obtained a Distinction in MPhil Advanced Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, specializing in Denial of Service attacks.

Prior to his current role, Williams worked for Goldman Sachs in Asset Servicing Technology and Regulatory Operations.

Furthermore, he served as a Technical Analyst at GlaxoSmithKline within Patent & Trademark IT.

Williams has a solid academic foundation, including a First-Class Honours in Software Engineering from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

His education includes A-Levels with maximum grades, a PhD in Cyber Security, and an MPhil in Advanced Computer Science among others.

In addition to his consulting role at Roke, Williams has taken on various positions within the organization, including Line Manager, Departmental Bid Manager, and Innovation Lead for Consulting.

He has also held teaching and ambassadorial roles at the University of Oxford, where he contributed to the Department of Computer Science.
