M.Eng. Abdul Aziz Khan

Abdul Aziz Khan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada. He also pursued a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from N-W.F.P University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan.

With a strong background in renewable energy systems, Abdul Aziz is well-versed in battery energy storage, microgrid, geothermal, solar, wind, and biomass energy systems. He excels in using ETAP/Easy Power for various analyses like power flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, cable ampacity, and harmonic analysis.

In the field of power systems protection and control, Abdul Aziz has extensive experience in protection philosophies, P&C design, relay logic diagrams, and programming of relays. He has expertise in conducting technical reviews of power transformers, MV switchgears, P&C Panels/buildings, Inverter stations, and Instrument transformers.

Throughout his career, Abdul Aziz has served in key roles such as Senior Power Systems Engineer at CIMA+, Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at Stantec Consulting Ltd, Services Specialist at Schneider Electric's Energy Automation Center (EAC), and as an intern at Siemens in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has successfully managed battery energy storage system projects and sub-station upgrade projects.
