Melody Hansen

Melody Datz Hansen is an accomplished freelance writer with a strong background in creating, editing, and managing various documents in academic and nonprofit settings, particularly in areas like editing, journalism, and global health research.

Her educational journey includes a Master's degree in Central and Eastern European Studies from Jagiellonian University, an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Seattle Central College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Washington.

Throughout her career, Melody has held key roles in organizations such as Self-employed as a freelance writer and regulatory consultant, TeenTix as a teaching artist and volunteer consultant, City Arts Magazine as a freelance arts writer and dance critic, The Seattle Times as a freelance dance writer, International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) as the IRB and publications manager, and The Stranger as a Regular Contributor and Books Intern, among others.
