Melissa Previtera

Melissa Previtera is an Academic & Research Services Specialist at the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library at the University of Cincinnati. She serves as a liaison to the Colleges of Pharmacy and Medicine, where she supports academic and research needs within these disciplines.23

Previtera began her role at the University of Cincinnati Libraries on September 3, 2019.3 Her expertise lies in providing research support, particularly in systematic reviews, as evidenced by her recent certification in Systematic Review Services Specialization (SRSS), which she obtained in June 2023.12 This certification highlights her skills in conducting systematic reviews and collaborating with researchers to implement effective search strategies.

In addition to her academic role, Previtera is noted for her contributions to enhancing library services and supporting evidence synthesis research within the health sciences.4
