Melinda Miller

Melinda Miller is a successful co-owner and General Manager at Pixo, a software consulting agency where she excels in managing and organizing the consulting team.

Her background encompasses journalism, library and information science, and user experience research and design, providing her with a diverse skill set that enriches her leadership and management responsibilities.

Melinda's educational journey includes a Master of Library and Information Science specializing in User Experience from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Journalism from the same institution.

Throughout her career, Melinda has held various roles at Pixo, including Director of Consulting, Director of User Experience & Research, and User Experience Architect, showcasing her expertise and dedication to the field.

She has also contributed to the academic world as a Graduate assistant in the Library's Scholarly Commons and as a Visiting lecturer in the Department of Journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Melinda's professional experience extends beyond Pixo, with roles such as Editorial adviser at Illini Media Co., Assistant managing editor for presentation at Democrat and Chronicle, and Assistant managing editor at The Ithaca Journal, highlighting her diverse background in journalism and media.
