He tapped into advertising channels for the new service and created a subscription based marketed toward tiered consumers. In addition, he suggested partnering with a blog to increase traffic to the site. Meeting requirements set forth by management, Mr. Beard collaborated with programmers to develop the site.

Mr. Beard worked for a small technology consulting firm during his senior year that needed creative talent in order to better position themselves toward small businesses. He developed attractive marketing campaigns through new business cards, pamphlets, brochures, DVDs, and trade show materials using Microsoft Publisher and Adobe InDesign. He created other marketing tools that allowed the company to diversify their contacts in the business community. He was successful in enlarging the company's footprint by shifting the company’s brand image toward their target client.
