Melanie Bowman

Melanie Bowman is a Founder and Clinical Social Worker at Caregiver Strategies and Support, LLC, a role she has held since April 2018. She is recognized for her work in supporting caregivers and individuals dealing with the challenges of aging and mental health. Prior to this, she co-owned Harmony Home Health from 2008 to 2017, where she developed her expertise in the caregiving field.23

Bowman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comprehensive Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Counselling specializing in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from various methodologies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) among others.1
