Melanee Nelson

Melanee Nelson is a dedicated professional who transitioned from the entertainment industry in Los Angeles to a career centered around nonprofit/mission-focused organizations in Seattle.

Motivated by a successful fundraiser for a veteran with post-traumatic stress, Melanee pursued a Public Relations and Strategic Communications certificate program through the University of Washington extension.

She is currently part of MEDEX Northwest, the physician assistant education program at the University of Washington, leveraging her skills to make a positive impact.

Her educational journey includes certificates in grant writing and film & video production, all contributing to her goal of advancing missions of support and humanity through storytelling, interconnection, humor, and creativity.
