Dr. Mbbs Ali M. Al Khathaami is a distinguished senior physician specializing in clinical neurology, strokology, medical education, clinical operation, quality & patient safety, public health, and research methodology.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from King Saud University and pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Epidemiology at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Dr. Al Khathaami furthered his expertise by completing FRCPC in Neurology at The University of Calgary.

Throughout his career, Dr. Al Khathaami has held key roles in prestigious organizations. He served as a Professor of Neurology at KSAU-HS College of Medicine and held the position of Executive Director in the quality and patient safety department at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNG-HA). Additionally, he contributed as a Neurology and Stroke consultant at MNG-HA, Chairman at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Chairman of the Epidemiology & Biostatistics department at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, and Associate Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

Dr. Al Khathaami's leadership extends to his roles as the Former President of the Saudi Stroke Association, Director of the Medicine Residency Training Program at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, and Director of the National Guard Health Affair Stroke Program at MNG-HA.
