Mayra Castro

Mayra Castro is an Associate Attorney at Higgs, Fletcher, and Mack, specializing in employment-based immigration petitions.

Before her current role, Mayra worked as a Law Graduate at California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc., aiding low-income clients with housing, labor, and immigration issues.

Mayra graduated from the University of San Diego - School of Law with a concentration in Public Interest Law, where she was actively involved in various student organizations.

Her diverse internships include experiences at the Immigration Center for Women and Children, San Diego Superior Court, ABA - Immigration Justice Project, and Casa Cornelia Law Center, focusing on immigration law and juvenile cases.

Mayra also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science-Political Theory and a Minor in Spanish Literature from the University of California-San Diego, along with a paralegal certificate from UCSD Extension.

Prior to her legal career, Mayra worked as a paralegal at the Law Office of Bryan M. Grundon, gaining valuable experience.
