Led the development of scoutAsia, the first product collaboration between the Financial Times and its parent company, Nikkei. scoutAsia is an ambitious business information service that uses Machine Learning to identify news and events about 600,000 companies in Asia. Took the product from Discovery to MVP and commercial release, and built a core team of 20 to deliver on an ambitious timeframe. Developed and maintained the product roadmap, and was involved in all aspects of the product’s development, including commercial and brand strategy. Led a cross-functional team of UX managers, designers and engineers as well as a number of third parties to define and deliver features in line with our core persona needs.

Senior Product Manager

Responsible for the management of a number of high-profile products during the relaunch of <a href="http://FT.com">FT.com</a>, primarily focused on increasing reader engagement and improving the article reading experience. Collaborated with Editorial stakeholders to define requirements, and conducted extensive customer research sessions, user experience workshops and design studios.

Led the transition of a number of platforms, both front and back-end from our legacy <a href="http://FT.com">FT.com</a> site to the new <a href="http://FT.com">FT.com</a>, launched in 2016

Product Analyst

Established a small start-up to develop a competitive photo-sharing app for iOS that rewarded good content over follower count and fame. Targeted at the online amateur photography community, ROL was well received, being featured in The Guardian and BBC’s Click, and claiming Stephen Fry as a user. Led everything from UX and UI design, to user journeys, marketing and pitch decks. Worked closely with a developer to bring new features to reality, and engaged with our active community to field new ideas. Generated over ten million image impressions within the first six months, and saw over 100,000 images posted. The app received praise from a number of influential photography blogs, and we incorporated feedback with regular app updates throughout the year.

Founder

Developed and managed the flagship digital product at a small academic research start-up that consults many of the world’s biggest organisations about corporate strategy. The product was a collaboration platform used by multinational companies, and hosted global online conversations between thousands of employees. Involved in all aspects of product delivery, project management, UXD and strategy.
