Max Howenstine

Max Howenstine is a key figure at Zero Hash, having been part of the company's inception as a founding employee. Currently, he spearheads Stablecoin product development and oversees the company's global expansion and growth initiatives.

In his previous roles, Max led various product squads including Trading and Markets, Compliance, Data, Reporting, and Internal Tooling at Zero Hash, a prominent crypto-as-a-service API company.

Max has played a pivotal role in securing regulatory licenses for Zero Hash's operations within the United States. The company holds a federal Money Service Business (MSB) license with Fincen and 48 state Money Transmitter Licenses (MTL) along with a BitLicense from the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).

Zero Hash has also extended its presence globally with local entities in countries like Brazil, Australia, the UK, and Europe.

Max's educational background includes a Masters in Information Systems from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Minors in Spanish and Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington, and additional studies in Spanish and Sports Sociology at IES Abroad Barcelona, Spain.

Throughout his career, Max Howenstine has held various positions at Zero Hash, advancing from Business Analyst roles to Director of Product Management. Prior to his tenure at Zero Hash, he gained experience as a Technical Business Analyst at CME Group and as an Investment Management Intern at The Mather Group, LLC.
