Max Comess is a space professional with a diverse range of experiences in spacecraft operations and communications. With years of experience at SpaceX, Comess has held various positions in the company, including Lead Dragon CRS Communications Coordinator, Ground Segment Engineer, Falcon Ground Station Operator, Seaborne Telemetry Operator, and RF/EMI Engineer. Comess has also worked as a Physicist at the Space Studies Institute and as a Participant at the US Antarctic Program. With a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Comess has a broad background in physics that informs his work in space technology. As the Senior communications hardware systems architect at the Aerospace Corporation, Comess continues to apply his expertise in space technology to his work.
