Julianna Scheiman, a mechanical engineer and physicist, boasts an impressive background in space missions and engineering. Scheiman holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and Structural Analysis from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and a BE in Physics and Mechanical Engineering, High Honors from Dartmouth College. With over six years of experience at SpaceX, Scheiman has held various managerial roles such as Director of NASA Satellite Missions, Senior Manager of Mission Development, Senior Mission Manager, and Mission Manager, to name a few. Before her stint at SpaceX, she worked as a Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates and gained valuable experience in the space industry as an ESMD Space Grant Structural and Thermal Analysis Intern at Marshall Space Flight Center at NASA and an Undergraduate Student Research Program Intern at Johnson Space Center at NASA.
