Mauro Cocchieri

Mauro Cocchieri is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various roles in the business and technology industries. He obtained both his BSc and MSc degrees from prestigious Italian institutions, and also had the opportunity to study in the Netherlands and the United States.

Mauro's impressive career started with a research assistant position at Bocconi University, which led him to become a journalist for IL MESSAGGERO. After that, he worked at Banco Santander and General Electric before devoting himself to entrepreneurship. As a co-founder and CEO of foodpanda Philippines, he led the company to new heights, which also allowed him to become the Managing Director of Lazada Philippines.

As his career progressed, he landed roles in Facebook and Meta, where he served as the Head of Retail and the Industry Head - CPG, Italy, respectively. In his current position as Head of Agencies in Italy at Meta, Mauro is responsible for leading the company's outreach to various advertising agencies in his region.
