Maureen States

Maureen States is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry.

She obtained her Real Estate Sales Associate license in 1979 and later upgraded to an Associate Brokers License in 1982.

In 2002, Maureen embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by establishing her own Real Estate Brokerage, Neighborhood Realty Services, where she excels in the listing and sale of residential, investment, and commercial properties.

Apart from managing her business, Maureen also dedicates her time to hiring, training, and mentoring Sales Associates, ensuring a cohesive and proficient team.

Her expertise extends to providing guest talks on various real estate topics such as buying and selling properties.

Active engagement in professional organizations is a hallmark of Maureen's career. She has been a crucial member of the REALTORS Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, serving on the Board of Directors, Professional Standards Committee, and chairing the Lender REALTOR Committee.

Maureen's educational background is diverse, having pursued studies in Organizational Leadership and Computer Technology at Duquesne University, Interior Design at The Art Institutes, and holding a diploma from Sacred Heart High School.
