    Matthew Y. Suh, MD, MPH, is the NYC Area Director for Christian Medical & Dental Associations (CMDA).1 He is a board-certified surgeon with training in general surgery and transplant/hepatobiliary pancreas surgery.1 Dr. Suh graduated from Harvard University and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.1

    Dr. Suh began his full-time ministry as the NYC Area Director for CMDA on March 1, 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted New York City.1 He has been actively involved with CMDA since 1999 and transitioned from private practice in Northern New Jersey to focus on ministry work.1

    In addition to his medical background, Dr. Suh is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Alliance Theological Seminary.1 He is also an ordained pastor and the founding pastor of KINGDOM REVIVAL, a network of Kingdom-centered, Revival-focused home churches.2

    Dr. Suh is married to Margaret and is a father to Christopher and Trina.1 Outside of his work in New York City, he leads Medical Education International teams to Mongolia.1
