James Wittig
James Wittig, MD, is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon with a robust background leading and developing successful programs in the healthcare industry. A graduate of New York University School of Medicine, Wittig completed his orthopedic residency at Columbia Presbyterian and a two-year orthopedic oncology fellowship at the Washington Hospital Center and NIH. He is currently the Medical Director of Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Oncology and Sarcoma Program Chairman at the Atlantic Health System, where he continues to make significant strides in orthopedic oncology, sarcoma surgery, and limb-saving surgery for both adults and children suffering from benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors.
Wittig's career is punctuated with significant achievements and contributions to the healthcare industry. He has served in various leadership positions, including Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Morristown Medical Center and Chief of Orthopedic Oncology and Sarcoma Surgery at both Hackensack University Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center.
