2nd Rotation: Sr. Electrical Engineer I 
SAS - ISRS - STS - MTS - FPGA - McKinney
•	Lead EE for new international program 
•	Developed skillset necesarry to function as a firmware developer 
•	Worked multiple programs simultaneously

Rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program

•	Designed, optimized and built multiple optofluidic platforms for disease detection and analysis 
•	Improved critical masking step for a dry etch process which reduced process time, increased device yield and enabled superior designs 
•	Recognized as the cleanroom guru, and was asked to consult with other research projects to help in there process development and in training students
•	Simultaneously worked on  3 different research projects during coursework  (HIMAS, FASTBAC, ABEL Trap) 
•	Trained and mentored 10+ undergraduate and graduate research assistants
•	Gained multidisciplinary research experience while working in collaboration with BYU’s Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, and Biology departments, UCSC’s Applied Optics group and UCB’s Mathies BioAnalytical Lab

Graduate Student Researcher

•	Improved device yield by 80% within the first year of research
•	Successfully fabricated optofluidic platform resulting in key publications and additional grant funding
•	Hired as part of the BYU IMMERSE program, where students get hands on graduate level research experience, learn how to give technical presentations and engage in community outreach programs 
•	Recruited as a fully funded graduate student as a result of my performance
•	Toured with BYU’s Kinnect dance team while maintaining LED light suits and other tech equipment for their performances at elementary schools

Undergraduate Research Assistant

•	Lived on campus to help incoming freshmen and other on campus residents to succeed 
•	Managed a building of 57 students 
•	Designed programs and activities for 100+ students to help build strong campus communities

Resident Assistant

•	Teaching Assistant for ECEn 124 / CS 124 Computer Systems Class 
•	Tutored, 60-80 students, concepts of computer systems such as: binary arithmetic, digital logic, C and Assembly programming languages
