Matthew Lynch is a Senior Population Health Strategy Consultant at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where he has been working since 2019. He specializes in implementing health outcome improvement and cost-saving strategies within the healthcare sector, particularly through CareFirst's Patient-Centered Medical Home program. His work involves collaborating with major health systems and independent primary care practices to enhance primary care access, specialty referral patterns, medication management, and data interoperability.1 2

Lynch graduated from Wesleyan University in 2015 with a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He later earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in 2016. Before joining CareFirst, he worked as a business transformation consultant at HM Health Solutions, where he managed identity and access management projects for various BlueCross BlueShield plans.1 2
