Matthew Lerner

Matthew Lerner is an accomplished entrepreneur and consultant with extensive experience in building and advising startups. He has a passion for developing early-stage businesses in various industries, with a particular interest in food, media, travel, and hospitality. Mr. Lerner has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan and has held essential positions in several companies. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Torchlight Consulting, an advisory and consulting firm that aids startups in achieving their goals. He previously worked as an Advisor and Entrepreneur in Residence at Starta Ventures and recently advised and invested in Makomi, a fast-growing tech startup. Mr. Lerner also founded and was the CEO of MetroButler, a hospitality and property management business that catered to travelers. In addition to co-founding Gift Connect and EatBlue.com, he worked as an Account Executive at Fleishman-Hillard, a renowned communications and PR agency. Mr. Lerner's skills and expertise encompass entrepreneurship, business strategy, management consulting, and early-stage investing, among others.
