Matthew Hunt

Matthew Hunt is a seasoned professional in the mobile industry, with over 18 years of experience in delivering mobile software applications across various verticals. He began his career by developing mobile applications for the Sony Ericsson smartphones and was responsible for the technical delivery of internal and external mobile software applications, including email, messaging, media, and gaming.

Hunt, who studied Software Engineering at The Manchester Metropolitan University, is currently the Chief Client Officer at Apadmi, a leading mobile technology firm that helps clients establish their mobile strategy, choose appropriate technology, and deliver mobile-centric solutions that meet their business needs.

Besides contributing to the mobile debate, Hunt is a former member of the Healthcare Steering Group at pro-manchester and has spoken at several events, including a Masterclassing event on mobile finance and Mobile Monday Manchester on mHealth. As a frequent expert speaker, he regularly appears on BBC Radio to discuss tech in general.

Hunt has worked across several positions in the mobile industry, including Business Development Manager, Partner Support Manager, Manager of Symbian & S60 Open Development Support, Team Lead - Enterprise & Partner Support, and Development Support Engineer, and C/C++ Software Developer.

Hunt's experience in enterprise mobility solutions and the digital workplace has seen him work with clients in various verticals, including Healthcare, Telecoms, Financial Services, Construction, Manufacturing, and Retail.
