Matteo Negri
Researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler
Matteo Negri is a dedicated researcher with a degree in Philosophy of Language from the University of Turin, Italy.
Currently, Matteo works at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK – formerly ITC-irst) in the Human Language Technology – Machine Translation group.
His research interests revolve around natural language processing and machine translation, with a focus on areas such as Question Answering, Textual Entailment, Information Retrieval, and Information Extraction.
Matteo has actively contributed to various national and EU-funded projects including WebFaq, OntoText, QALL-ME, CoSyne, CRACKER, MMT, and QT21.
With over 100 scientific papers to his name, Matteo frequently engages as a program committee member and peer reviewer for national and international conferences and journals.
During 2005-2009, he served as a teaching assistant for Text Processing courses at the University of Bolzano and the Master in Human Language Technology at the University of Trento.
In 2018, Matteo achieved National Scientific Habilitation as an Associate Professor specializing in Computer Science and Information Processing Systems.
