Bernie Huang is a highly accomplished researcher and computer scientist with a vast array of experience in natural language processing, computer vision, and information retrieval techniques. As a graduate research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, he has been instrumental in analyzing and understanding large scale datasets. Prior to working at CMU, Bernie was a senior software engineer at MediaTek, the second-largest mobile System on a Chip provider globally. His multimedia algorithms, such as speech recognition and enhancement, benefit over 1.5 billion people worldwide. Bernie has an academic background that includes a Master's in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and Communication from National Taiwan University.
