Matt Singer

Matt Singer is currently the Principal Product Manager at Squarespace, a position he has held since March 2023. In this role, he focuses on generative AI products, contributing to the development of innovative tools that enhance user experience on the platform.23 Before this, he served as Director of Product at Squarespace from August 2019 to March 2023.4

Prior to joining Squarespace, Matt was a co-founder and CEO of Videolicious, a company that specializes in video creation tools aimed at simplifying the video production process for businesses. Videolicious was notable for its ability to help employees create personalized videos, which ultimately led to its acquisition by Squarespace in 2017.14

Matt's educational background includes graduating Summa Cum Laude from Yale University with a degree in music. His early career involved significant work in the music industry, where he produced CDs for various high-profile artists and sold them through channels like QVC.1

In addition to his product management responsibilities, Matt actively engages with the community through live demos and Q&A sessions about Squarespace’s AI tools, showcasing his commitment to user education and support.2
