With over two decades of experience, he has evolved from an academic geographer to an applied digital geographer specializing in Web GIS.

Matt's journey in geospatial technology has led him to the core belief that applying geography to solve business problems is his true passion.

He advocates for GeoSpatial 2.0, a new geospatial paradigm that integrates technology into geo-centric business conversations.

Matt holds a Master's degree in Geography & GIS from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Geography from the University of London.

Having worked in various roles, including Principal GIS Consultant at Critigen and positions at organizations like Stoic Holdings LLC, WhyofThere, Hexagon Geospatial, and Esri, Matt brings a diverse and extensive skill set to the table.
