Matt McClain, PhD, is a versatile professional with a diverse background in engineering, Spanish, mythology, and depth psychology. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mythology and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University, and has also studied Spanish and Iberian Studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

With a keen interest in hemp and cannabis, Matt founded Recreator Hemp Apparel in 2013 and served as CEO until 2018, after which he shifted his focus to hemp cultivation and processing. His passion for the shamanic and mystical aspects of the cannabis plant led him to explore its intricacies during his PhD studies. Matt's expertise extends to pattern recognition and he has been actively involved in various hemp-related research projects and initiatives.

Matt's professional journey includes roles such as Director Of Sales And Business Development at Zera Farms, Board Member at the World Cannabis Foundation, Advisor at the Industrial Hemp Advisory Board with the CDFA, and RoundTable Leader at the Joseph Campbell Foundation. Recently appointed as the President of the World Cannabis Foundation, Matt oversees collections from industry legends like Richard Davis and Jack Herer.
