Matt Foley

Matt Foley is the Managing Director of Startup Incubation at NextCorps, a role he has held since January 2019. Based in Rochester, New York, he specializes in advising startups throughout their lifecycle, particularly focusing on customer discovery and achieving product/market fit. His extensive experience includes serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at NextCorps since September 2014, where he helps startups define and reach their milestones through coaching and mentoring.

Foley's background includes founding companies such as QualNow, which provides rapid video feedback services, and FocusGroupIt, a SaaS platform for conducting online focus groups. He has also held various positions in qualitative research and analysis, including Senior Vice President at Edelman Berland and co-founder of PluggedIN, which was acquired by Edelman in 2011. Foley earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University between 1998 and 2002.1
