CAN DO KID was created to inspire kids of all ages and the goal was to find as many ways to carry the CAN DO message as possible.  Founded in 2005, we created a line of CAN DO products including an all natural, gluten-free food line with kids’ nutrition/energy bars as their flagship product.  CAN DO KID bars were created with the help of hundreds of kids (and their mothers) and are now being sold across the country in Whole Foods and other independent and natural stores.  

Since inception, I have been an active board member assisting with business strategy, marketing programs and business development activities.

★ Iconoculture is the leading observational consumer research and advisory firm in the industry.   The Corporate Executive Board acquired it in 2010. 

★ Initially recruited to build out the West Coast.  During the initial 6 months, exceeded my goals and was promoted to SVP Sales.  In less than 3 years, built the sales, account management and demand generation engine (50+ people).  During this period, the company grew from $1M to $15M+ in annual sales.

★ Sawyer Media was a venture backed, rich media technology and services company founded by TV Anchor Forest Sawyer and Sequoia Capital Partner Mark Kvamme.  

★ Built and managed the sales, marketing and account management functions of the business and during late-2002 was asked to be interim CEO.

★ Scient was the leading eBusiness Services Company.  In less than 3 years, we grew from 70 to 2000+ employees and over $300 Million in annual revenue.

★ In early 1998, I was recruited to be Scient's 1st Sales Executive.  After delivering key customers, I was promoted to VP Sales eMarkets, our fastest growing business unit.  Under my leadership, the eMarkets Business grew from infancy to over $50M in annual revenue.

★ In early 2000, I was then promoted to VP & GM, Worldwide Sales consisting 60+ resources (i.e. field marketing, inside sales, outside sales and sales leadership). While in this role, I introduced new sales processes and expanded the channel which enabled the delivery of over $300M in annual revenue.

In late 1989, I was hired as an account representative at Gartner Group and over a period of 9 years promoted 6 times, with the final role being the founding VP, Sales and Marketing of an internally funded and launched start-up business called Decision Drivers.
