Matt Boerio

Matt Boerio is a fourth-year student at the University of Virginia majoring in Financial Economics and Computer Science. His interests lie in private/public equity investment, data science, and entrepreneurship. Apart from academics, he enjoys soccer, tennis, and outdoor activities. Matt aspires to work in a dynamic and innovative company setting. Matt's educational background includes a double major in Financial Economics and Computer Science with a minor in Statistics from the University of Virginia, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Computer Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and completion of studies at Providence High School. Matt has held various roles in organizations, such as being an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo, President Emeritus at Virginia Venture Fund, Private Equity Summer Analyst at Broadtree Partners, Team Lead at Stripes Group, Growth Equity Intern at Anthos Capital, Vice President of Partnerships at Virginia Venture Fund, among others.
