With a background in journalism, Mason spent five years in a newspaper newsroom focusing on stories that blend business and culture, showcasing his dedication to storytelling.

Apart from his work in the cannabis industry, Mason is known for his dry hard cider production, love for Wet Wizard hot sauce, engagement in sports like futsal and basketball, and his enthusiasm for backpacking in the remote areas of the Pacific Northwest.

Mason holds a B.S. in Supply and Logistics Management with a focus on Business from Portland State University and has also studied Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University.
