Mashadi Matabane

Mashadi Matabane is a highly accomplished individual with a rich educational background and a diverse range of experience in academic and professional settings. Mashadi obtained a Ph.D. in American Studies from Emory University, a B.A. in Comparative Women's Studies from Spelman College, and an M.A. in Magazine Journalism from New York University. Currently, Mashadi serves as the Director of Equity & Inclusion and a History Teacher at Stevenson School. Previously, they held positions such as Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion at St. Paul's School and Humanities Teacher at the same institution. Mashadi has also lectured on Introduction to American Studies and worked as a Graduate Assistant at Emory University's Graduate Institute of Liberal Arts.
